Tude....as in Attitude!
JT is going through his terrible two's all during this one week. (he was a great two year old, now that he's 4 1/2....eeesh!) That's all I'm giving him, is one week, so it's ending Saturday. I don't even know if I can describe it other than if I say yes, he says no, if I say white he says black. And Crabby.
Interestingly enough, he's had his best week at school. The ST and OT today at his private therapy session said it's the best yet too.
I do think this is all conected to no more pull-ups, and if he has an accident the activity he was doing is gone for awhile. He hates that rule with a passion.

CC~ Best of luck with the teen tude! My 11 year old and 10 year old are starting some new hormonal stages of their own. JT would follow his brother and sissy to the end of the earth. It had crossed my mind that he is copying some of their growing pains.

Ugh! We are suffering from a lot of "tude" here Dawn! In fact, that and sucking on a straw are the only two things that Emily is right on target for her age. I always tell her if she want's to sport that attitude she better get up and walk already. No on this developmentally delayed has any business with it!!! LOL!!! Girls are beastly. I'm really learning I'm a boy mom.

When my son was about to make a developmental leap, he would get crabby, restless, sleepless and act like he had the terrible twos. It last 3-5 days and then we would have an "ah hah" moment when he would finally make the leap. It might be new vocab or putting his head underwater at the pool or using a swing without being pushed. There was always something and we always figured it out after getting totally frustrated! Go figure.

" Girls are beastly" - Cbean I take it your son who isn't one of those boys who's "no smarter than a box of puppies ?" I've often found boys relentlessly impulsive and ALWAYS screaming at the top of their lungs. Even in their sleep. I just figured that if I had a son I'd hope he wasn't a "I love wrestling and hockey hyperactive kinda guy... "- Jeff

"relentlessly impulsive.." you crack me up Jeff. Did you forget you're a BOY??
I'm a boy mom too Cbean. Not girly. (Though I clean up well, and can certainly look sexy when I need too..I just don't do ribbons and bows myself!!) Sam is all boy--run, jump play hard. He is loud, as Jeff insinuates all boys are--and a bit impulsive, but not to the point of reckless abandon!! cindy ;D

We are going throug the attitude here with Paige also and I tell you she can get pretty hateful sometimes. I know that it is just starting here with us though and I have a few more years of it so I have to keep telling myself that I was young once also and had that same attitude.LOL
