is what Greg has! And because of it he spent two days in the hospital. I had no hint it was anything respiratory. I took him to the Dr. because he wasn't eating and had a low fever. He never complained at all; except for the needles, he was "fine" and smiling. The nurses just loved him to pieces and he got all the ginger ale he could swallow. I think he would have stayed longer if the our dogs could have visited him there. Another big surprise was that he fainted several times. Once, right as I was taking his brother out of his wheelchair. So I was holding and 80 pound child in one arm and caught a 145 pound child in the other.

Gwen, So sorry to hear about Greg!! Glad he's home...hope his recovery comes quickly and he's back to his old self soon. I work in a pediatric doc's office and we have seen soooo much pneumonia this past month. Alot of kids in the hospital. Also we have a "flu" outbreak going on too...high fevers, sore throats, coughs, achiness...kids feel miserable. And its lasting about 5 days! This has been a very bad winter for sickness so far here in Ohio. We are suppose to have freezing weather this weekend, so maybe everyone will stay home and not spread all this junk.

I hope Greg is feeling better real soon. When Trisha sounds like she has something respiratory she doesn't and when she doesn't sound like it she does! go figure. lol

I showed Greg all the posts here. He was thrilled to see his name over and over. I told him that everyone hopes he feels better and wants him to cough BIG so that he can be well soon.
Thanks, Gwen

feel better GREG. ya know I have felt the same way about my girl. She had pneumonia sooo many times(10-15 times before 2 years old. BUT she hasn't had pneum for over 5 years. Hasn't been hospitalized since she was 4. I used to feel so bad cause when I'd bring her in she'd be so cute and happy then they would look at the xray and pulse ox and my sweet girl usta hafta be hospitalized.and at ucla they don't put you in the hospital for a minor thing her pneum were always horrible huge ones where her lungs were on the verge of collapse I usta think shoot how come I didn't think she was that sick? Just cause of her good nature I guess. But the guilt is always there...GREG feel better...(HUGS) steff
