Jt did have the x-ray at age 2. The x-ray itself was traumatic for him.....and for me. Because he got all worked up, it took forever and they had to take a bunch of pictures.
The Dr. didn't like the way they looked and ordered more....the same day. They were sent to an orthopedic specialist. Who also didn't like they way they looked, but also said he was too young for anything to be definitive.
We just had JT's three year old appointment and the neck x-ray came up again. We decided that we are going to wait another 6 months to a year before redoing them.
The only thing the Dr. said he should NOT do is sommersaults.
(Darn the luck though, JT had his 3 year old hearing appointment this morning, the ENT wanted x-rays of his tonsils & adenoids....so we still ended up down in the radiology department.....these x-rays were still scarey for him, but not half as bad as the neck. I don't want to scare anyone, the x-rays don't hurt at all, JT just decided he didn't trust them or the machine for nothing!)

I debated wehter to have this X-Ray done for a whilse, and i finally had it done . The doctor called and said everything came back normal . I am so happy. I guess he will not have to have it done anymore? I have to still talk to the doctor to see if maybe when he gets older and maybe wants to participate in sports hbut im not sure?
