You know, I didn't realize what was going to happen once Emily got that reciprical crawl down pat, but it is amazing to see what crawling does for one's development. Now that we've been crawling correctly for almost two months now we are disappearing and taking off into other rooms of the house. Boy she's fast!!! She's always pulling up on furniture to her knees and streching her arms to reach things. Then two days ago I passed her as she was playing at her brother's Hot Wheels table and when I came by again she was STANDING!!!! I screamed (joyfully of course) because I was so shocked and had to ask Ryan if he had helped her. I was so glad that he said NO!!!! That evening I was out and came home to find out she had done it three more times and in other locations!!! Finally got to see her do it last night at the couch. Proud of my girl, but getting a little nervous, tee hee. Remembering Pat at last summer's get-together and thinking I'll be joining her ranks soon enough!!!! LOL but it's all good and I'm thinking I might just get my wish and see my daughter walking into her preschool class. Thanks for tolerating another brag! This really makes up for a lousy mother's day!!!

WOW!!!!! That girl is making up for lost time!
Ethan didn't walk until he was 2 1/2, and he never faced the issues that Emily did, so it sounds to me like she is roaring up the developmental scale! Way to go Emiy!!!

I am just so excited for you ...not sure what to say!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes you are right...once they are mobile it seems like everything else really takes off. I hope you are getting videos of all this. My Em was really pre video cameras so we have none of her progress recorded...
And now some pictures please.

In two months this little princess has gone from crawling to pulling up to furniture and standing??? ROFL...I think you better start getting a bit nervous because she is leaping ahead...LOLOL I think I can see her running by fall, forget the walking stuff mom!!!! The good news is that I can suggest lots of tips for locks, fences, gates, safety knobs and those I forget, Pat's John has taught her about We have lots of experience with fast learners, LOLOLOLOL!!!! WTG Emily, you just keep it up so your mommy gets her daily prenatal exercise hugs, Robin
