Molly blows me away. Tonight she runs in with a DVD..Big sister Dora. ...and grunts and points at her bedroom....it seems URGENT that she watch Dora NOW!! (not an unusual occurance in our house) Im like "Molly...SAY IT!" say "MOlly wants to watch!" Say it!! "RA" is all i get...her word for Dora...much like FUR! her word forthe cat.. Lucifer.. Can ya say BOMB-FRUSTRATION??? UGH...I finally give up...we go potty (she's just in panties now...no mess ups today) and head for the DVD player! I get it fired up....(we have more conversation re: SAYING IT WITH YOUR MOUTH!!) and i leave her to go deal with the kitchen....and then??? i can hear her saying something. Last week,we stopped at B&N while with gabe in spg....and she picked out two new dora books, after much decision-making...2, just 2, even though she touched 50! She had one of them now...BIG SISTER DORA! (matching the DVD) and she's in there, reading away, in her little molly language...following along on the right page. I checked the other book....yep, SUPER BABIES!! we have THAT dvd, too! SHE IS SO SMART IN THERE!!! WHY can't i make it come OUT her MOUTH?

All I can say is my 4 1/2 yr old doesn't talk or walk!!! I have to figure everything out usually through grunting (we don't even get pointing or hints) or whining or crying. We think Justin has apraxia. I am waiting to see what others say. All I know is we have done speech for 4 yrs and the only words we really have are Mama and boo (any toy he has is called this).
