Well, he just couldn't wait until today! My mom called at about 5pm last night - "dad is having chest pains, had them all day, popping nitros all day". I get there and he says he's "fine" - 1 minute later - pops a nitro. What fun!! So I finally get him in the car and head to the ER. Pops another nitro. Gets to ER, gets hooked up, another nitro... The good news: he didn't have a heart attack!!! That's a first!!! They got him stabilized, admitted, and he was actually in a GREAT mood (drugs ). I'm getting ready to go get my mom and take her back to the hospital (did I mention she doesn't drive - never has... she's 69). His doctor came by the room last night at 11 pm (boy I like this guy!) and said they are just going to try to keep him stable and then go ahead with the angiogram today. He said he isn't sure if it is another blockage or what, so the angiogram should give us a lot more info. Thanks for the prayers!! Jodi

You've been on my mind all day Jodi....I hope things went well today. How well I remember those frantic trips to the hospital, you had quite a day yesterday. Post up as soon as you can, and let us know what you find out. I'm praying hard for those doctors to get a handle on this!

WOW Praying all is well for you Dad. He really needs to get to the ER earlier when he has chest pain like that, sounds like lots of nitro and it wasn't even helping You ALL continue to be in our prayers. CC ~

Jodi,
I hope your dad is better. I just noticed you call him Pops. It touched my heart since that is what I called my grandfather who passed away three months ago.
