I must say that Kourtney too has always had good manners..She always says thank you and please and welcome..Your welcome hardly comes out right , she also knows if she burps or exspells gas any other way, she will say "scuse me ...sorry" even if it's followed by a little giggle.
Congratulations on your new little Ms. Violette...what a beautiful name !

I didn't read each response but each year I have teachers tell me that Lauren could teach the other "typical" children manners. We have always held her accountable with her manners. She says yes sir/mam, please and thank you. She even used the signs for them as a baby. She has her moments but she is VERY smart and knows what is right and wrong when it comes to manners.

nonono dont set different expectations...meghan, who is 6, is very polite (well most of the time, lol) when someone compliments her, her 'thank yous' are automatic, as are her "may i please be excused" when she wants to leave the dinner table.... she says please and thank you without being reminded, and "God Bless You" when you cough or sneeze.... and it wasn't something I had to work overly hard on...some table manners, yes (like not grabbing others food, etc) but otherwise, she does pretty good...so fear not!! laurie
