Meeting other parents in my complex needs classes! LOL I don't think that is on the CD though! heehee I got my CD but haven't listened to it yet. I haven't had time!! I think what is BEST would truly vary from parent to parent!!
I would hate to have a parent of a child say 9 like Russell say "oh I didn't like this workshop, it wasn't for us, it sucked, don't listen to it"...knowing maybe it WOULD fit for you and you WOULD like it. so... I'd just listen to it, all of it.. and what might not be pertinant now, might be years later for you! And if some speaker is too boring, skip it and come back to it when you have a long car ride to do! ;D So skip around if you need to.. and enjoy! Enjoy!

Violettesmom, It's so hard for me to answer your question, because my daughter is so much older than little Violette. But, I have heard Libby Kumin speak many times before and I would think that (If I was you) I would read/listen to the info she has on teaching babies to speak.....I think she did a specific session on birth to two words or something like that. She knows her stuff. I'd start out with that!
I can glance through my compendium and see what looks best for parents of little ones.
