SUSAN!!! We don't have our tickets yet--but June 2-11th are the dates we're talking about--Scott's at a conference that week (starting the 6th) so we were hoping to do Disneyworld type stuff on SAT, SUN, MON and then maybe waterparks or smaller scale stuff for me and the kids Tu-Fri in the day and Scott would join us at night. It would be sooo perfect if you guys were there to! Where are you staying?? Could you just plan everything for me and tell me where to sign? I'm not good at this stuff! I will be so thrilled though if we can go at the same time as you! I would love for Kaylee and Emma to meet Emily (Sam too, but he's a major handfull-kind of drives Kaylee crazy so he may Emily also) It would be so great-- I will email you- anybody else?

CC I don't even know what questions to ask. I feel a bit overwhelmed- I don't like stressful vacations, prefer Mai Tai's by the poolside. ;D So I'm worried about where to stay-which park is the best-what extra things to spend $ on (swimming with the dolphins?) what the kids would most enjoy and how to keep Sam (2 1/2) happy even though he'll probably be to short to ride anthing!!
HELP!!!!!

Cindy, We are arriving on Friday night. We have no plans for Saturday or Sunday so far at all!!!!! So, we're totally free those days and had thought about going to a water park. There is one in Kissimmee called Water Mania that we like........it's not like the nicest one there, but it is SO reasonable........buy one day, get the next day free!! So, we've gone there several times. The boys love it because it has a section where you can jump into this thing with a boogie board and "body surf" before it throws you out into the lazy river section. They love it!
On Monday, we are going to Discovery Cove to do the dolphin swim thing. With that admission, you get up to 7 days of Sea World tickets. So, we would do Sea World for maybe 2 days after Monday. If it is something you would consider doing, I can answer questions on it for sure.
We have, in years past, gone to Disneyworld, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Wet n Wild, and Discovery Cove. The only park the kids say they might want to go to, other than one of those, would be MGM.
We are staying at our time share, which is very close to the entrance of Disneyworld. It has 10 pools inside the time share area, so you could always come and hang out with us there too!
I CAN'T BELIEVE THE DAYS ARE THE SAME AS OURS!!! I think we are meant to meet up!!!
Susan

Yes, very interested in the Discovery Cove thing so please tell me all about it--
I can't believe our days are the same, what are the chances of that?? Do you have to register in advance to go to the Discovery Cove thing? I will email you after I'm through this crazy weekend- (soccer/birthdays/Kaylee's sick..) We don't have a hotel yet-have never been to Florida/Disneyworld and have a bunch of questions! I could really use your advice. I am so excited to come and that my girls will have someone to do pool time with! We'll chat later-

Cindy check out this link, might help you in finding where to stay. disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/resorts/resortOverview?id=ResortOverviewPageWe have stayed at the Boardwalk, Caribbean(sp) and the Contemporary. We age going back again for the Christmas holiday and staying at the Contemporary again, we just LOVED it there. The monorail comes right thru the hotel so very easy getting around to the parks. Last time we requested a room looking right at the Magic Kingdom and right outside our sliding glass doors you could see the Castle at the Magic Kingdom. If you stay at one of the parks hotels you can go to one of the parks early or late depending what they are offering that day before the crowds are allowed in. Use to be if you want to reserve a meal say Breakfast with Mickey, Minnie or whatever character you want, you could only reserve 60 days prior to your check in date. Now they are doing it 180 days prior. Not sure if you are interested but the Castle has a GREAT breakfast Hmm not sure if lunch and dinner too but for sure know its breakfast and it with Cinderella and such. OMG I bet the girls would just LOVE that. Sam too I bet Anywho just thought I would mention that one in particular because the one is the hardest to get reservations too. YIKES I could go on and on bout Disney World maybe you should go to this link and order a free DVD, helped us tons on planning our vacation ;D disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/myVacation/vpkEntryPage?id=VPKEntryPageIts sooooo COOL that your family and Susan's will be there at the same time ;D CC ~

I too love Disney and wanted to throw in my 2 cents! If you are going to schedule a Character breakfast, lunch or dinner, do it as soon as possible. Maybe now that they have opened it up to 180 days ahead it's easier to get the time and date you want, but we had a tough time getting our reservation made when we wanted it. But, it's worth it!!
We have stayed at the Boardwalk and some others as well and they are all very nice. I personally loved Wilderness Lodge the best. You should definitely check each one out on line or by getting the video . . . each has their own offerings and style (as well as different rates). Keep in mind the least expensive resorts (sports, music, and one other one in that themed group) also have the smallest rooms to go along with the price.
Have fun!!!
Jessie
