Actually, I'm being facetious, it's not shocking at all really. I don't know if any of you remember me lamenting the fact that Jason's bus driver, "Bob", took another route, which put us back with, "Karen". She's the one that couldn't control the kids back a couple of years ago. We were not at all happy he was back on her bus this year. I had called her manager right away and told her, just know that the first time there's an issue I'll be calling to have him switched to another bus.
There's a classmate of Jason's that rides his bus and they have what I would describe as a love/hate relationship. "Jerry" also has Ds, they are the same age, both stubborn as mules, love to hug, and are trying to be top dog in the classroom. Last Friday when I picked Jason up from school (because of pink eye), Jerry gave him a huge hug and told him he hoped he felt better. Awwwwwww. Well, yesterday on the bus, Jerry was picking at Jason and the bus driver moved Jerry FOUR times on the ride to school. That was the final straw and their teacher called transportation and asked for them to be split up. The manager readily agreed to reassign Jason, based on my call to her earlier this year.
Jason's teacher and I agreed that the real problem is that this bus driver can't control the kids, they know they can get away with murder on her bus.
So, I'm just glad that on Monday Jason will be on a different bus and HOPEFULLY, there will be no more bus issues for the year!

Here's hoping Jason's new bus driver will be one who cares enough to handle the students on their bus!
