After a year and a half of having a script for glasses for Russell, I FINALLY ordered his glasses tonight I know.. I suck! LOL But... I got two pair at a good price and will have them in 7-10 days. It's for his nearsightedness which is getting worse and worse. I avoided this for too long. See, first off, since he functions like a baby/toddler he really isn't interested in what is beyond 5 feet in front of him. Then there is the Autism, which means if you don't engage with him RIGHT in front of him, you loose his interest too. Then...well, after the lens implants when he was 4 1/2, he didn't want anything to do with glasses anymore... why should he.. he could SEE now! But... lazy mom finally did her thing tonight and picked out two cute pair for him! A.

A. I can't wait to see pictures!!! I guess you could put me in that lazy category too!!! I forgot to schedule Collin for this 2 year exam which was due back in March. He doesn't get in until late next month!!! I can tell he's gown because his frames are actually to little so that means buying completely new frames etc....$$$$$$ Connie (another lazy mom!!)

You're not alone. Took a team effort to get us to buy Charlie new bifocals this summer. Charlie tossed his glasses on the floor just as other kid was walking by, stepped right on them and mangled beyond repair. Charlie was overdue for new glasses. Had been holding script for almost 2 years. Had looked at glasses when we got the script but didn't see anything better in frames than what he already had. So, just kept what we had, very little change in rx. Then when we were forced to get new glasses was pleasantly surprised at choice and fit of Flexon frames from Lens Crafters. Glad I am not alone We decided to give the America's Best Eyeglasses place a try and I was very impressed actually. Lots to choose from and they had 2/69.95. www.twopair.com That's the site, maybe there is something near some of you! I was impressed with the selection. Usually for that cheap, you get about 2 to choose from but this was not the case. We also got the scratch coat, uv coat and some other coat for that price. And then for an extra $15, we got the year warranty if they scratch OR break. I asked "EVEN IF MY SON BREAKS THEM!?" LOL.. they said yes! So.. that was a bargin! So.. for $91 and some change.. I got two pair of glasses for Russell! A.
