I'm still working on it Deborah. I messed up and missed the deadline to get Emily signed up for the self advocate's conference and don't want to go unless I take her. I haven't given up quite yet. My boys also want to go to the sibs conference! Just for fun, I filled out the online registration for the 4 of us with preconference fees and the banquet...........over $550! Sigh.......... I'll let you know. Susan

Ok, There no way we can afford a room at 100 or more.. with the 5 of us.. and the cost of the conference.. It adds up to quick and then parking and food.. that leaves no fun time.
We may drive up Friday and stay at our local place and come to the hotel around 10 and met some folks.. and swim.. and have some dinner and then head back to our place.

WHEW!! I did it! We are officially registered for the preconference and the conference. Emily is registered for the self advocate sessions, and the boys are registered for the brothers/sisters sessions. We did not register for the banquet......just can not swing that!!
Now to get a hotel room!!

I have a hotel room at the Fairfield Inn, which is one mile from the conference, but I'm going to keep calling the Marquis because I'm hoping rooms will open up there over the next few weeks. When I called the conference hotel number, they were the ones who searched for nearby hotels for me. The guy signed me up for the Marriott rewards program, because otherwise it costs $10/day to park. I hope to see some Uno Masers there!
