What size shoes do your kids wear, especially the teens?
We recently went shopping for shoes for Laura, wanting some cute shoes she could wear with jeans, pants, but no tennies shoes. She is still wearing about a 3, maybe a 4, and it is so hard to find shoes in that size that aren't "toddler-ish".
I have thought about looking on line for some. Any suggestions, online or other wise?
Thanks! Sharon

Sharon, I'm always surprised by the Target shoes, because they almost always have kid-sized versions of the older kid's shoes. You could try there. Or you could go with some leather ankle-height boots. They are pretty standard across the sizes.
Best wishes! Chris too

I have small feet myself and I find that designer shoe outlets work well. When they carry kids shoes, they are usually fashionable. I wore a size 5 until Laura was born, now I am a 5.5. I can wear kids size 4 too. It is hard, but buy them when you see them even if she is not with you. you can always return, but chances are they won't be there later. HTH Marisa

"What size shoes do your kids wear, especially the teens?" Christopher is 14 and wears an adult size 6 and 1/2. Have you tried Kohl's, Target, Macy's, Sears, Pay less, Lord and Taylors or sometimes I have found the coolest shoes for the kids in the specialty shops in the mall, just a thought. Best of Luck CC ~

Angela is 11 and wears a size 1, but only because we need to get her orthodics into them! Without orthodics she's still in a 13. To compare, my 9 year old niece wears a size 4.
Oh, and I was just in DSW the other day and they have some of THE CUTEST tennis shoes! OMG!!! Like bedazzled ones and stuff like that. I wanted about 5 pairs for myself. I believe they go down to a size 2.

Emily is sixteen. Most girls her age wear a women's size 7 or above. She wears a girls size 4! Occasionally, women's size 5 tennis shoes fit. But in any other type of shoe, it's a size 4 girls.

My Daniel is 2 and wears a size 7. We had him measured at Stride Rite and he doesn't even measure wide. Just a standard width size 7. However, keeping shoes ON has always been a struggle. He is considered an 'expert shoe and sock remover"....that is until I finally outstmarted my 2 year old LOL!! We found high top Air Jordan sneakers with laces that are nylon type material so when they are tied, they form a nice tight knot that Daniel has been unable to untie ....It took alot of shopping to find these sneakers....I might even buy a few in sizes 8,9, and 10...just to be safe
