Just wanted to ask for some prayers. Leah's having her tonsils out in the morning. We are hoping this will help with her sleep apnea. Thanks for all your support! Tiffany

Definitely hoping for an uneventful and successful surgery for you! We'll be going through the same thing here on Jan 9th. Let us know how it goes!

Hope it went well and will help a bit with sleep apnea. Let us know. Dani was all over the bed before her tonsils were taken out two years ago. She seems to be sleeping much better and is not as active in her sleep. I know-she falls asleep next to me most nights--bad momma

Oh, you're done now, for sure. I hope it went really easily!! Ethan just had his out the middle of October. If I had any advice to give it would be this.....and I think Dolly is the one that told me this and it was the best advice ever. Don't assume that a sleeping child is a pain-free child. Give her the pain meds every four hours, and you'll probably have to wake her up to do it. We had such an easy time of it. We had only about 36 hours of yuck, around day seven when the scabs came off. He ate well, drank well, and slept well (other than us waking him for meds, LOL!)
His older brother (now 21) had them out when he was five, and it was a nightmare. Every kid is different, but I only gave him pain meds when he was awake, and I think that is part of why he had a much harder time of it.
Good luck, many prayers and lots of good thoughts coming your way!!!

Please let us know how Leah is doing. I hope she will be okay. I had my tonsils out later. I may have been eleven or so. It was awful. I got really sick and couldn't hardly eat a thing. Like the one poster said, every child is different.
