I know that this book has probably been posted many times, but I just checked it out at the library, and it is definitely on the Christmas list for my parents and parents-in-law. What an inspiring and refreshing book and the pictures are wonderful.

Check out page 80 I think it is....it has Emily's story written by her sister Marnie.

When I was reading the book, I wondered if that was the Emily I hear so much about. That's neato!!!

Her sister Marnie wrote it after a summer Emily spent with her in DC....Brian ...the co author was also Marnies intern one summer when she was still at t he National Headquarters of the American Red Cross and the two of them led the SIBs conference for a number of years at the NDSC meetings.
One year...it was soooo cool...the NDSC had about 12 of the people with stories in the book related to performance...come and do their "thing" ....Marnie and Emily did a neat mime routine.

OMG Jackie!!!! That is sooo cool!!!! I remember this story. Now I have to go re-read it with a whole new perspective.
I just LOVE this book. I haven't "read" it in months but I do go through and look at the pictures all the time. The pictures are beautiful.

I still think its a great book...but its a tad confusing because the pictures do not relate to the stories.
