We have a boy that rides by the house constantly poor thing almost ran into the neighbors car parked in the street from looking back to see if Alyssa was out. Put me down for a copy of that book too ;D

I married a widower, so DH has been through this with 2 boys & girl. First he said no dating until they are 16. Next they had to write on a piece of paper, qualities they wanted the person they marry to have. If then the person they want to date did not have these qualities, they were not allowed to date them. (This does save you from letting them go out with just anyone and falling in love with someone who has no qualities you want your son/daughter-in-law to have .) His 3 kids are all happily married with 11 between them. Yes, John-John is an uncle and they are all older then him! This made me a grandmother of 6 the minute I said I do Pat

Yikes CC - where do the years go? Simon is 16 and I have to say I am finding his teens tough - you just so hope you are steering them right - there are so many pressures out there. Glad Kodi Lee is sensible, so is Simon but that doesn't stop me worrying hugs Stella ps when you find that book let me know!

The secrete with teens is: Guide them without pushing things down their throat. Give them rules, but be a bit flexible--- like you have them in a loose net. PRAY HARD! And wait for them to hit 20 and get some sense again! Rickismom, who has married 3 off already and has two teenagers in that loose net (and I'm praying HARD!)
