In your travels through the internet, you may notice a pop-up from yourgiftcards.com...They will offer you a gift certificate for $50 to be used at Red Lobster , Wal-Mart, Best Buy, AppleBees, etc..... They claim they have no affiliation with the companies the gift certificates are made out to...
Anyway, there are countless complaints against
YOURGIFTCARDS.COM for not keeping their promise....We did it and to qualify for the gift cert. we had to subscribe to something...in our case, we chose the Columbia House DVD Club.....Fulfilled our end of the deal and still no gift cert....So, I did a thorough search on the Internet only to find that there are many folks who fell for this...Be warned that they are scam artists.....

Yes Bob ...you have to be very careful what you buy on the internet. Generally with the exception of Amazon...we just dont buy unless there is a phone number and we can check it out. Even phone numbers can be bogus, too, so its best to stick with recognized businesses I think.
We have even discovered that in making hotel reservations and other travel plans we can often meet or beat online prices by calling directly to the hotel or cruise line and talking to a real person. I know too many people who have been scamed from giving personal info and credit card info on line.

I don't buy ANYTHING on internet- I get the address, check it out etc. Saves a lot of money- no impulse buying....
