Hello. I have a new foster son! He arrived a week ago . His name is Ryan and he will be 8 next month. He has severe learning disabilities but is mentally more able than Nicky or Aaron and can follow some instructions like 'go and get your shoes' . Its very hectic round here right now and very smelly - I now have three in nappies (diapers)ages 16, 7 and 7!!!!!!!!!!! Today I seem to have been up to my eyes in ............ We did get to go out for lunch and all three were very well behaved. I hope having him here will make it just a little bit easier for me when Aaron goes off to his residential school next month but I doubt it . Bye for now, Pauline UK

Hi Robin. I am certainly not an angel ;D, just doing something I enjoy. As for diapers , its not too bad during the summer when I can have all the windows open and lots of fresh air but I dread the winter ! There is a web site for the school that Aaron will be going to it is www.davidlewis.org.uk., I think it is just the ideal place for him and he will be very happy there. Its a 52 week a year school but he can come home at weekend and holidays, they also have a parent house which means if I want to go and see him at school I can phone and book to stay in the house overnight although its only about 90 minute drive from home so probably wont be doing that. Not sure when he will actually be going but it will likely be on the 20th August, the days are going by sooooo quickly now . The best thing about it for me is knowing that he will be settled somewhere at least until he is 19 and possible much longer. Aaron is happy so long as he is fed, clothed, bathed and given love all of which I am sure he will get in this school but its still VERY hard to let him so. Pauline.

Pauline... Congrats on your "New Boy"... I am sure he will be feeling very at home and comfortable with your family very soon!! A new one in and now Aaron is going away... you will really miss him while he is away!! But I am sure the other boys will help you, and keep you busy enough to not think about it too much!!
Good Luck with all... Tammy.
