Ok Guys, Just need to vent. Both I and DH work full time, most days my Mom watches Haley. Today she decides to take Haley to a movie, comes home and guess what. We were robbed . Must be kid(s), they took a dvd player, 30/40 $$ in change ALL the dvd's. I don't think much else, but boy does it suck knowing someone was ransacking our drawers and such. We've been in our house 6+ years and we were robbed once before a few years ago. Same "mo" so I think it must be neighborhood kids. Now you must be thinkin' boy she must live in a high crime area. WRONG our house is the only one in all the 6 years we have heard about being robbed. So now you're thinkin' hmmmmm she must have the nicest house in the neighborhood. Wrong again! Obviously just the easiest to break into . I'm just really glad that Haley and my Mom didn't walk in when they were there. Oh well just needed to vent.

WOW Sue...I'm so sorry to hear that!!! When I was about 15, I walked into our house after a babysitting job in the middle of a robbery.....needless to say, the only person who was more scared then the robber was ME! It literally sickened me to think that someone had gone through our stuff, so I know what you mean.
Glad to hear Haley wasn't home!!
Susan

Sue, hugs to you. I know how you feel, it's the invasion of privacy that is the hardest thing to deal with. (Well, no you have to be grateful that no-one was injured cos that is the worst thing). We were broken into once and I hated the fact that strangers had been in my home, going thru my stuff - it's awful.
hugs to you

Sorry to hear that...we were robbed once when I was 11 or so.... i still remember it vividly. was funny (strange funny) because I happened to be home sick from school and my mom had to go to the mall to do a return at the Gap --- and she was going to let me stay home alone, which i don't think I had been allowed to do ever. i decided to go and maybe stay in the car while she ran in.... well, we got home and these kid's CAR was still in the driveway! unfortunately, she didn't think to block them in while we went to the neighbors for help, but they were caught, although i don't know what happened to them, they recovered most of the stuff too. anyways, i'm sorry to hear about the robbery, it's a horrible feeling, but i'm just glad noone got hurt, etc. hugs, laurie

Just tell yourself, it is all material stuff and the most important "stuff" wasnt home. I cant even imagine what a creepy feeling it must be to have had strangers, kids or not, rifling thru your things and in your home!!!! HUGE {{{HUGS}}} to you! Robin

That just BITES!!!! SOOO sorry glad everyone is safe. DVD's? change? yea MUST BE KIDS... and if it were neighborhood kids I would start talking REAL loud when they're hanging out in the neighborhood. I'm so bad I'd be talking loud to a friend while they are all out there and say perhaps..LMAO... " The police have the hidden video camera tape and are gonna call tomorrow after they view it." " gosh if someone would anonymously return it I could tell the police to forgetaboutit." hee hee.... UGGG... I had over 100 cds stolen from my car in our garage. AND when I was 16 we went to Puerto Vallarta and returned home on Dec. 23rd. We heard the dog whining but didn't think much of it when we opened the door. WEll our dog was tied up outside in the rain and my moms window was opened and the windowsill had a footprint on it. They bailed out the window when they heard us come in. SCARY... WHAT did they get? YIKES all the wrapped X-mas presents in my moms closet. They were even opening em when we came in cause it looks like they halfway opened one and ran when they heard us. Must've gotten 50 presents. NOW THOSE PEOPLE ARE IN FOR A REALLY SCARY KARMIC RESPONSE. Thats bad. On the 24th we have about 50 guests over so on the 24th my mom and I rebought ALL their presents. They took all my presents but I was just happy they didn't take my stocking stuff.(hee hee) Man thats awful but glad you are all okay. STEFF
