Moderators, As soon as I see a joke about politics, I have an idea about a presidential vote. What if we made here a vote for the president (Bush or Kerry) just for fun to see who will be our president if only Uno Mas votes and see if we vote as whole country.

Hmmmm, ALICE, I am thinking this could be a dangerous post as you know what they say, politics and religion can be dangerous subjects But I will take the risk, Colin and I are for Bush, Kodi is for Kerry but hey she is too young to vote yet and at this point Chris could care less LOL CC

This could be a fine topic if we stick to the answer... BUSH or KERRY and do not elaborate on our opinions.
so with that said...
BUSH

Oops! Sorry, girls! You should not tell who is your vote. I just wanted "the vote" something like it was for vote for "Get together". So, no one will see who you want, but we all can see the result and %%%. Actually, we want Bush too. My best friend wants Kerry, but it will not tear us apart. We (Uno Masers) are all adults and smart (I hope) and no matter who we will vote - we'll be friends! Right?!

well I guess its ok if I share Emilys vote with you all...she is voting absentee as she will be in Houston....and she told me on the phone the other night she is voting for BUSH.
It is interesting because Norine who is her employer....like so many people who work in social services is a dyed in the wool liberal......yet her husband, who is a physician.....obviously sits on the other side of the fence. Emily is enjoying their good natured sparring over personal politics....and I think her husband enjoys the fact that one of the very people Norine is constantly sitting in congressional offices and on steps of buildings protesting for...LOL....is on HIS side. Emily called me laughing and said Norines hubby had given her a ...Clinton bobblehead. It is not so important who we vote for.....just that we do VOTE and when we do..... we need to be aware that we are indeed fortunate to live in a country where we ARE free to make up our own minds. Jackie.......ps....if we do end up running a thread where we actually state opinions....I would hope that it might differ from the press...where we dont keep talking about 30 year ago military events...etc....but where we do some real talking about the current issues and where OUR candidate stands on them. That way we might not get sideways with each other....but...maybe just the voting poll is enough to keep our PEACE here...LOL
