I bought 'The five people you meet in heaven' at the same time as I bought 'The Memory Keeper's Daughter'. I realiseIt's a best seller in the states so I'm probably behind the times. It's by Mitch Albom who wrote 'Tuesdays with Morrie' For anyone intrigued by the title here's a little of the blurb : ...on his 83rd birthday, Eddie dies in a tragic accident, trying to save a little girl from a falling cart. With his final breath he feels two small hands in his - and then nothing. He awakes in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a lush garden of eden, but a place where your earthly life is explained to you by five people who were in it. These people may have been loved ones or distant strangers. Yet each of them changed your path forever...
intriguing eh? Would love to know what anyone else thought of it!

I absolutely loved this book. And it really makes you think about the people you encounter on a daily basis. This is one that I will probably read again.
I hope you enjoy it!

I am one of the very few people who did not really like the read of Five People....HOWEVER....I watched the TV movie of it and absolutely LOVED that version...I think if you liked the book...you should definitely check out the DVD if it exists. Can't remember if it was Hallmark or just a tv movie...but its been on in the last two years I know.

I think I will watch the movie, I heard it was very good. Mitch Albom also has a couple of other books out. Haven't read them, but probably will.

I enjoyed the book because it reminded me that you never know how you may have touched someone's life. It's good to keep that in mind!
