Our Move from WI to KY is complete. We've still got boxes EVERYWHERE, but we've got the computer hooked back up, a couple of t.v's and a dvd player. What more do you need?
My daughter would tell you she needs a bed, the moving company lost a piece of her bed so she's still camping.
We're having a lot of new house issues. A ton of leaking water problems, doors not closing, etc. The house we left was 110 years old, our new one is brand new and so far a headache.
JT has done quite well, better than I ever imagined. We're visiting school today, and hopefully starting tomorrow!

Congrats on your move! Hopefully, things will get better with the new house headaches. Glad to hear JT is adjusting well.
Also, glad to see you have your priorities in order . . . getting the computer hooked up so you can post here!! LOL

HMMMMMM Pittsburgh. I found the post office all on my own yesterday and thought that was mighty big. I did find the shopping mall in Lexington on Saturday. If Pittsburgh's got a mall, I can find it!
Seriously, I should look at a map and see where I am in relation to the rest of the states.

Dawn~ Thought I'd help you out a bit..............SIX hours and 20 minutes from Lexington to West Mifflin PA. It looks like a very STRAIGHT shot from KY. You can do it!! And BTW.........have I mentioned that we are 3 hrs from that Lexington mall? ? Susan

Glad the move is done Chester!!!! Exactly what city you in now??? You IN Lexington? I don't think you are TOO far from us now!!!! Comparitively speaking Lexington is about 5-5.5 hours from us And that is about how far Susan is from us... around there.... it's always good to do 1/2 way meets! We have friends that live in Lexington, KY. It's beautiful out there!! Glad JT is settling in.... how is the school stuff going? A.

We're in Georgetown, which is just north of Lexington. I'd love to meet up with any of you! I'll have to talk to my husband about the summer get together, but I'll wait until I've got a few more boxes emptied first. Since the DH's company moved us, they also packed us. I'm trying not to whine but COME ON! I think they are playing a HUGE Scavenger Hunt trick on us. We've found the base of the cordless phone, but no phone. We've found the tops to JT's sippy cups but no bottoms. Every single box has to be opened>>>>AAAUGGHH!
You should see my garage sale boxes though! Whoa! I had a huge sale before moving, but now that we've moved, it's much easier to part with stuff......it's out of here!
JT started school yesterday. When I picked him up they said he was "rambunckious" (Sp!) which I had warned them that he is going to test them out big time to see what he can get away with. His new teacher goes on maternity leave, the first part of April or whenever the baby says it's time, so I have a feeling the rest of the school year will be spent adjusting.
I'm more concerned about my older son. He has an IEP from WI, and now they are setting up a meeting "to see if he qualifiys in KY". I spent about 4 hours with him on homework last night, there is no doubt in my head that he qualifys! I've got to start getting my IEP laws straight before next Thursday!
