Some of you may remember that I started driving a year ago and how terrified I was (not to mention the other road users!!!). Did my test on Tuesday and passed I am so thrilled and I was so scared! Am so relieved I passed as I would HATE to have to go thru that again. Waiting list over here for driving test is a year so it really becomes a big deal, knowing you have to wait another year to retake. It's amazing the difference driving with L plates makes - other drivers no longer try to run you off the road in their haste to get past a learner. Mind you, I was a bit "vocal" the other day when Craig was in the car ("commenting" on other drivers etc. ) and Craig (8) looked at me and said "okaaaaaaaaaaay, this is weird, you've really changed since you passed your test" ROFL Sarah, bless her, just wanted to know if I'd "won" and she has been proudly telling everyone ever since! On a more serious note, being able to drive has completed transformed my life, made it so much easier for me and for my children - it means so much to me and the sense of achievement is amazing. And I would give up my washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, oh heck, take the children , before I would give up my car! Stella

Alright Stella! I can't imagine not driving. I've been driving since I was 15. What independence it brings!
Driving in Ireland too! Now, that's crazy. I got so confused with that "wrong" side of the road thing. You should seen me freaking out as a passenger!!! LOL
Great job!
