We're leaving soon, to go "home" for a couple of weeks. I've got two questions;
1. This will be the first time that we have to "visit" for extended periods of time being we just moved quite a few states away from ALL of our family and friends. So how do you deal with who to stay with and how much time to spend where? My Mom is already got an attitude that we're spending the first weekend with some friends and working on our other house that still hasn't sold, SIGH!!! We do have a hotel for the majority of the trip since it's officially a my DH's business trip and we're just tagging along.
1a. When you're going home are family suppose to invite you to stay with them or are WE suppose to say could we stay with you? I think it's just assumed that we're more than welcome to stay anywhere, but it feels so WEIRD. I did ask my Mom about staying with her just to make sure and she acted like OF COURSE......
2. I just spent the afternoon cleaning out the suburban we're traveling back in....I HATE THAT JOB! ISHKIBBLES! Any suggestions on staying neat and organzied while on the road with your family?
As you can tell, I had WAY to much time to think while cleaning out the car!
