I'm a total no muss no fuss type of gal when it comes to hair. My hair grows really really fast. I think I spent way too much time back in high school in the 80's on it, now I want a get out of the shower and go style.
I was sick of my hair last night, not the right frame of mind to get a hair cut. I tried a new place, haven't found a place that I love yet. A new place, new stylist maybe should have warned me, just go for a trim. BUT NOOOO......WWWWAAAAHHHHHH. She chopped my hair, it's not even close to being even. It takes a lot for me to get worked up, and I'm worked up. She at least kept the layers long so I can maybe salvage another trip to another place in a few days or maybe a perm or maybe a paper bag!
Thanks for listening to me vent!

Awwwwwwwww Dawn, that stinks!!! I've never been one to get very upset over a bad haircut, but I did about a year ago..........I was nearly in tears! And Jordan, seeing that I didn't like it, tried to console me by saying "I know Mom. I don't like it either, but it will grow out"!!! Thanks Son!
I hope someone can fix it for you!

So sorry, I would be too. If you can ever trust them again I would ask for my money back or for them to fix the problem.

oh Dawn....that is the worst....and I know you can't do anything about it after your done....Hairdresses should cut less first....can always go back to cut more later. I know you want NOTHING to do with that place again.....BUT....if it isn't even EVENLY cut....I'd go back....before someone professional fixes it for you.....and show the owner.....let them see that it isn't just badly done, but uneven for goodness sakes !! Get your money back....IF you even paid her.... Wail away Dawn....and let us know if you find someone great who can fix for you.....

Oh Susan, your sons comment sounds a lot like what I've heard here at home. I asked my husband if my hair looked better after I washed it dryed it and styled it, his answer "the cut could be cute, she just didn't finish it right." I'll take that as a big fat NO.
My daughter was with getting her hair cut at the same time. Her comment was "Wow, I love my hair cut. Yours isn't my favorite" (In our house we have "trained" our kids to say "not my favorite" instead of I hate it, or I don't like it, etc. So basically she was using her polite training to tell me it is awful!
I'm asking a gal up the street who has a cute cut where she goes and will be making another appointment!

Sorry to hear of you hair troubles....but I just had to laugh at your comment about the 80's. I just came across some old pics of me in the 80's....I honestly don't even know how I made my hair so puffy!! LOL.....Remember Aqua Net...the white can was the BEST!!
