For those that were interested in our yard here is a brief tour. Mango trees in rows (most trees are between 20 - 30 years old) Mmmm mangoes!! Curry tree (named because the leaves smell like curry and are used in curries) Gallangal (a type of ginger, again used in curries) Our small banana patch (if you look closely you can see a bunch growing) Mulberry tree on the left and a small advocado tree on the right Fig tree, lemon tree and lime tree on the right (in the background not really visible is the kaffir lime tree) The big bare area between the advocado and the wind mill is where the veggie patch will be when we get it sorted. Enjoy!!! we will be having wine and nibblies on the verandah later this evening, all are welcome.

Ooooh! Ahhhh! So beautiful & tasty! Thanks Tammy for this lovely tour I was going to ask about the Gallengal - I cook with lots of spices, but I'd never heard of it before. BTW, thanks for including one of you holding your mangoes It's great to get to put a face to the name - makes me want to try mangoes again. Chris too
