It puts my stomach in knots just thinking about the battles parents often have to fight in order to get a lawful response from their school systems. I admire those of you who stand on the front line every year. I don't think I'll be doing it, though. I'm a wimp - I home school

I have to say that I haven't had anyone say to me the "coin" phrases most districts do try to pull.. I've been lucky thus far. I have had to be a bit firm with our new ST when we moved here a few months ago but that's about it. So far I haven't requested something that someone really said "we can't" do..... or my approach to see if we could do something is in a way that I am not going to combat... I do the "what do you think about this?" kinda thing... or I insert humor whenever possible...works better for me LOL

"K, put that in writing" LOL I can honestly tell you more then half they have told me they never ever would nor did put in writing CC ~
