Well, no papers signed yet....but I have chosen an out of district placement for Erin and the district agrees with it as well as the modifactions/services I asked for. She will begin in 2 weeks....they just need to hire a new aide for her ! I am very happy with this decision and look forward to posting about all the fabulous advances she will be making !!

I am taking Erin there tomorrow so that she can see it and they can all get a glimpse of Erin. The director told me she would have some stuff for us to take home: A couple of Social Stories about going to the new school and pictures of her teacher and her classmates !! I BEGGED her old school to do social storeis with her and they said she was too young and wouldn't have the impact it should !! And here the new place is doing it without my input ! I know this is a great place for her !

Allisa, I resisted putting Collin into a Special Needs preschool until he was 5....I regret that because these teachers really understood him and me. He grew so much in that one year!!! I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised. Connie
