k whatta title. sad to say its true. OMG crazy stuff goin on at school. Let's just say 2 days ago one aide tells me something Liv did and I had her apologize to a boy. It was no big deal but Liv needed to apologize. So me thinx all is fine when another aide comes up yappin and yellin about a boy in the class callin ppl names and saying the names he is saying. YIKES So me? the Libra in me starts backin up with another neutral Libra aide. LOL So just as I am about to say something cause this lady istalking about another child in the class influencing her sweet Olivia(ahem whuch I tend to disagree with) and saying horrible things about him infront of all the kids and his aide. WEll his aide chimes in yellin HEY don't YOU EVER TALK ABOUT A CHILD IN FRONT OF OTHER KIDS AND THEM... Then the other one walks to the other one and a shouting match ensues.Faces in each others faces. The teacher walks up then she is just flippin outon what the heck is going on kids are runnin around taagging each other most likely to get away from the adult chaos. So this is goin on I see the principal walk away and I whisper you better get over there and run like mad lol chicken little me. I know. I know. Then I leave the school to find some lady hitting my car. UGGG. Then yesterday went to school and talk to the teacher told her first thing she needs to get all the adults outta the room n she'd be fine we laugh she looked exhausted from all the drama and even told me she had heard that the 2 had actually gotten physical with each other. Can you all stand it? Then yesterday we are coming in I said something Olivia didn't want to hear and she called me a BITC*. 2 Times OMG wonder where she heard that one? sheesh. Will fill u all in on the drama ///
What shall we title it? As the aides turn, Forensic Crimes???, The sp ed class and the restless... hmmmm C ya Steff

WOW!!! That is CRAZY! They better get a grip on things, sounds like that class / school is out of control and I don't know how I would feel about sending my child there with that kind of drama!!! What are they gonna do with those 2 aides???

Yikes!!! Crazy stuff indeed! I wouldn't doubt the B word is a regular thing being said in school, so she thinks it's appropriate....I don't know how I would handle that if Jelani called me B. Boy you know there's never a dull moment in my life either, post back about this. ps don't forget to let me know about the camp thing, ok?

WOW!!!! Seriously, I'd be pulling my kid out of school until both those aids were out of my child's classroom. They have NO BUSINESS being there! School isn't a "safe place' when the staff is arguing in front of the kids. In 20 years in the educational system I've never seen anything like that, and if I did, those staff people would be GONE!

Your description of it did sound almost "funny", but nothing really funny about the adults who are in charge acting so totally out of control! Why did the one aide think it was ok to talk about this boy right in front of his class? Yikes..........I'd be afraid of what she would say in front of my kid too. (And hey, maybe she taught Liv her new "B" word?) Susan

Oh my, this is horrible. Does Olivia have to be in this class or is there somewhere else she can go? This just is so wrong!!!!

Wow, talk about some good role models for the kids! My older son once used the "B" word on me. He was about 3, we lived on a military post and he'd heard some other kids say it. We were joking back and forth with things like, "You're silly," You're goofy." And out he piped with "You're a bi***" I quickly explained to him that is not a nice word, we don't use that, and you definitely NEVER use it towards mommy!!! He got it, never said it again! Don't think it would be that easy if Nicholas were to pick it up, though.

LOL...Steph!!
The kids can learn from this. The teachers need to apologize to each other and HUG!!! Kids need to learn that adults sometimes make mistakes and have to say they are sorry too!!! LOL!!!
Valerie,
I have had the conversation with my #2 son over and over...."If, you don't know what it means DON"T SAY IT"
First time was when he called is brother a "PU##Y" ....
Gray...do you know what that means? Yes....., It's another word for a cat!! UGH!!! Yes your right but it also means something else...We don't use it!!!!
A neighborhood child was over playing basketball. He is a year older than Griffin and 3 years older than Gray. He must have been talking trash while playing ball because when he left I heard Gray tell Griffin...."What....you don't have any fuzz on your peaches?" Gray was about 8 at the time!!! GRAY...DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS....no I just heard so and so say it!!!
AGAIN!! If, you don't know what it means....DON'T SAY IT!!!
Or, maybe...Gray is just going to be that child that is pulling the wool over my eyes and likes to push the envelope!!!

Wow Steff...that is SOME story! Don't know how I would handle it.
As to the "B"word....I remember the day that Em (who rarely displayed anger)...shut the door in my face (age 14) and called me B**** Mom! LOL. I was floored...then I was ecstatic cuz this was SO normal...but then the other kids picked up on it and started using the term (lovingly) when they were displeased with me...LOL.
Good Luck....

LOL on the "B***" stories LOL Mine is like Jackie's..... Regan was about 3rd or 4th grade and got mad at me and went into the bathroom and YELLLLLED at the top of her lungs..... B.####!!!!! I was in the hallway and actually was kinda chuckling...because well, she isn't the brightest when doing things and NOT getting caught. I went in and asked her what she said... she said something about Witch... I was like..yeah right! LOL We BOTH laugh about it now!!! Regan now knows that if she is going to call me names it will be with her friends and mom isn't around Like all teens LOL A.

Oh, we hear B**** all the time here! One day Dean was at his limit and he called her that right back. She wasn't quite sure what to think about that and looked at him like he had 12 eyes. She hasn't said it to him since though! LOL
When she says it to me she makes every sound perfectly clear, which I think would make her speech therapist so proud!
I've only heard her do it in public a couple of times, usually has "F***ing" in front of it. Yeah...that gets looks in Target! LOL

"Then the other one walks to the other one and a shouting match ensues.Faces in each others faces." Hmmm and the one was talking about another child behavior Hmmm seems to me she needs to get her own behavior in check "she had heard that the 2 had actually gotten physical with each other" Hmmm I hope they got the same treatment they would give to a child if they did that. "she called me a BITC*" See I knew there had to be something good about Christopher's speech delay "Then I leave the school to find some lady hitting my car" YIKES girl hope the next day was tons better for you. HUGS CC ~
