I don't know why, but today I'm feeling nestalgic, just too darn proud maybe. I know there's parents out there reading here at Unomas who have preemies w/ Ds...a remarkable thing, surviving against all odds. And for those whose precious ones don't make it, my heart is heavy, I believe that they are called to be with God for a more important purpose than here on earth, and one day it all will become clear. I knew of his Ds when I was 17 weeks pregnant, then all of a sudden at 26 weeks he came into this world, 3 mos. early and weighing 1 pound 6oz, and he fought to no end in NIcu, battling his way to full term until he finally came home. So here's a couple poems from the early days. I'm just so proud of my baby!!!!

Nice. I'll bet reading them, you wish you could go back and tell yourself, "don't worry, sweetie, it's gonna turn out just fine."
