Yes, we have lost a good man. I haven't read his book yet, just the excerpts on the internet, and the you tube stuff. It is on my list, though.
Thoughts are prayers are with his family.

Oh no, E. I've been following his story and the updates on his site for months and months, praying for a miracle for him. What an amazing man, and what a legacy he leaves. Have you seen his site? download.srv.cs.cmu.edu/~pausch/news/index.htmlOh man, I just tried to access it, and the connection failed. I hope it hasn't been removed, maybe the server is just overloaded with visitors. I think he was a hero to sooo many people, his courage and sense of humor in the face of his diagnosis was the most inspiring thing I've ever seen. Even though the trend had been downward for awhile, I guess I still didn't expect it this soon. If sheer will to live was able to conquer cancer, he'd have lived forever.

Oh my gosh, I really thought there was more time. My heart aches and tears well up as I think about him passing. My heart goes out to his family and all the lives he touched.
Thanks for posting. Kim
