In Justin's first tumultuous year, I was told this little boy would never hold his head up. He was very late developing....27 months til he sat up.....28 months when started crawling...4 yrs he was standing holding onto things......and now.....he is WALKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok....maybe 20 feet without a walker now....but he is doing it!!!!!! I am so proud. I have waited so long for this first!! I am bursting with pride right now. We never gave up. We never listened to those words we heard that first year! Thanks for letting me share. Deanna

YAY Justin. You keep walking. What a sweetheart and joy.
You are so right, NEVER listen to what is said. I was told to NEVER limit my daughter's potential. Your son is walking with your love and perserverence. My daughter is kicking me in the butt :0--prior post
Thanks for sharing. Kim

Thanks so much. We have been so persistent with therapy.....and Justin himself (being stubborn) is very persistent. We never give up faith. This board has been wonderful for support and advice. I may not post a whole lot, but I read and take people's advice. It does pay off. Parents do know best.
Poor Cynthia...I sent you the link in your email....and texted you, but you had a rough night and probably didn't get my messages. Hope your night went better.

WOW.. what an awesome vid. That is so wonderful. Doctors dont always know what they are talking about, and I think sometimes, they should keep some of their theories to themselves :-)
