...ask for/ make sure they do. Brook is being sent in for her AAI xray test thing early b/c doc thinks she might have a pinched nerve or something in her armpit of all places She keeps pointing to her pit and signing owie w/ a pouty lip for like two weeks now so I took her in. They did rule out limpoma (sp) so that is good. I know to ask for Flexion, Extension and Neutral views. I wonder if she has to be VERY still?? Probally huh? What about this PAOD? (Posterior atlantodontiod distance) Ever have that done? Where they look through the mouth for a "front view". I wonder if little Brookie will have to do this again sence it's usually done at 3 yr old and she's only 2.4? So many questions and still waiting for the doc to find someone qualified. And that can pass the mommy question test ;D LOL

Gosh Jenn, I can't remember what else to ask for, but I do remember Jelani would NOT let them X-ray him laying down. They had him standing up and had lead aprons on me and a nurse as we held him in place and kept him as still as possible...but it took many takes while the radiology tech kept reviewing to see if the film "took" the correct view.
I wish all the best for little Brookies armpit, OMG never heard of such a thing...I sure hope it IS a pinched nerve or something from when she was picked up??
