My little guy is too funny, just had to share a little something funny that he did. He's always cracking me up, this one
Last week, Aidan got his T-tubes put in his ears. I was worried (like I always am!) about him waking up from being under anesthesia and not having mama near him, etc. So, I was ohhhh soooo excited to hear my name called saying I could go back to the recovery room and wait for my guy. I just *knew* he would be screaming and throwing a fit for me! HA! Little do I know! I was sitting there in the recovery room, anxiously waiting for my guy, I couldn't wait to hold him, to comfort him...you know, all of that mom stuff I could hear Aidan before I could see him...and he wasn't crying or throwing a fit for mama...OHHH NOOO! He was being pushed down the hall in a wheelchair by a cute nurse saying "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" the whole way down the hall! I was cracking up at him! The nurse said "I've never seen a child saying "weee" right after surgery!" LOL Aidan sat in my lap, laughing and cracking up (yeah, yeah...he was a little drugged up, but it was still cute), drinking his juice so we could go home...he had everyone rolling. He's a funny guy! BUT...this kind of worries me, too. Does this mean he's getting used to anesthesia or what??? He's been under it about 5 too many times, poor guy. Anyway...makes you wonder. The same nurse called to check on him the next day...she was still talking about him saying "weeee" right after surgery. haha
Just one more thing...Aidan never initiates words with me. He says some words after I say them, like he'll say "nice" when I pat his head and say "be nice, Aidan"....etc. Today, I was rocking him to sleep at naptime and he signed AND SAID "I love you"!! Oh my gosh, my heart just melted away and I started crying...tears of happiness! He then said it about 20 times, LOL, while signing it, because he could tell it was making me ohhh sooo happy and because he just wanted to get out of going to sleep, lil stinker LOL. Anyway...just had to share my little funnies about my guy! He's growing up...I can just see him blossoming and growing so much just in the last few weeks...it's so exciting!
