Has anyone bought a ninteno wii for their kids (ds)? Is it easy enough for them and understandable? Guess they have Hannah Montana and HS musical games. Wondering- it's getting to be that time of year.

"Has anyone bought a Nintendo wii for their kids (ds)?"
Yes we did for Christopher last Christmas. Honestly for Chris who really is a pro at the Nintendo, Game Cube and Play Station.
The wii honestly he did not take to it that much, I think it was the control it has BUT Kodi Lee told me they have a new control thing out for the Wii like is used for the old Nintendo. I have to look into that.

We have a Wii and Lewis is a PRO with it.
Brilliant for hand eye co-ordination, and problem solving etc.
Games we have; Wii Sports (I think this comes with the console) Wii Play (Comes with an extra controller) Wario Smooth Moves (Lots of Fun, problem solving and co-ordination) Wii Fit (Absolutely BRILLIANT for everything!!) Crash Bandicoot Spyro Zelda Guitar Hero Rampage and he just received Cars (Lightning McQueen) for his birthday.
The best thing about the Wii, is that it is far more interactive than the other Game consoles. As a Family we LOVE to play Tennis, Ten pin Bowling etc. I would recommend it to anyone!

We Wii!!!
Ryan loves playing the Wii, and Xbox, and Nintendo DS!! Too many games to list, but the role playing games are less interesting to him.
I agree with Tammy - there is a lot more intaction with the Wii.

We have Playstation 2 an XBox 360 and a VTech and Paige is a whiz on all of them - better than me. She will get a Leapster for Christmas to see how she does with the handheld games.

Angela's favorites are the Wii Fit games, particularly the running! She loves to run really fast so the guy falls down. LOL The other games she doesn't ASK to play, but if I happen to have them on when she comes in the room she'll play them. This is how I sneak exercise into her. I'm waiting for them to make a swimming game. Also, she still likes the "little kid" games, and I recently bought her Go Diego Go, which took her about 1/2 hour or so to complete. She's played it several times, but got a little obsessive about it so I put it away for a bit.

We Wii too. We love the guitar hero the most, but Wii sports & Wario Smooth Moves are great fun too. Wario is excessively silly.

We also wii! Love Wii Fitness- only problem is Haley has figured out that she can SIT when she is suppose to be running since it's only the hand "motions" that the games senses! She got a new one this weekend DECA Sports. Has beach volleyball, figure skating. snowboarding. Haley loves her Wii and so do wii
