THANK you ALL so very much for your kindness We are home actually got home late yesterday afternoon. This is truly the first moment I have had to post up. The procedure as from the Surgeon's side went well. Chris as always was not happy coming out of the anesthesia (sp?) vomiting and all that good stuff he would drink finally we got him to take a sip and got some pain meds in him and they let us take him home. At the moment either Colin or I have to be with him at all times as he wants the big bandage off and off now and continues to vomit He seems to still be in a lot of pain and we are keeping to the pain med schedule but I am thinking maybe that med is what is making him vomit We go back in the city on Thursday for an X-ray of the area and then the Doc will take the bandage off. I am hoping with all my powers that once the bandage is off he will just become the same little guy he was before he went in. For now all he says is off please and points to the area. He won't put his arm down right holding it in a very odd position but I guess thats the position that works best for him at the moment. ALL in ALL he is one very sad person to see right now but it has only been a little over 24 hours. Colin and I are hoping that each and every day he feels a little better and that he will be so excited to have the bandage off that he won't complain or even wonder what is under his skin Really can't say it enough you guys are the BESTEST CC ~

What a relief, Christie. I've been on here a million times today checking for an update. I'm sure this is really hard for Chris, and as always, hard for you and Colin to see Chris suffering.
Many, many prayers have gone out from our family for a successful surgery for Chris. I hope that each day will be better than the last. Thank you for taking a moment to update us.

I'm so relieved to hear the procedure went ok and you guys are home. I so hope he starts to feel better tomorrow. Thursday is a looooong way off, hang in there!
Will keep your family in my prayers that he continues to heal properly and all will be good once the bandage comes off.

CC, So glad you posted....I've been thinking about you guys all day long! Sounds like the procedure went well. Chris is probably still feeling the effects of the anesthesia..yuck! (I get the same way..always throw-up). And the pain meds might be making it worse. Maybe they can give him something else. Hopefully he will sleep through the night....things always look better in the morning. I will continue to pray for his quick recovery, and for you and hubby to get some much needed rest.

Awww CC........that just stinks. (The vomiting, the pain, and Chris's desire to take off the bandages). But, I'm glad the pacemaker is in, and that it can now regulate his heart. You're still in my thoughts and prayers. Susan

CC
I am so glad that things went well, and Chris is home. Hopefully it won't be too long and he can switch to Tylenol instead of the pain meds.
We will keep praying, here's to Chris' complete recovery!

Yay, CC!! I am so glad things went well for Chris and will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers that he is feeling better soon. As for the pain meds...that is a good thought on the vomiting, I, personally can not take certain ones for that reason. Keep updating us on his progress!! Debbie
