We've known that Jason is considered to have 'scattered development' . . . well, that has been proved just in the past couple of weeks.
I told you guys about him being caught watching an adult movie a couple of weeks ago. Well, I got our cable bill the other day and along with that movie there was ANOTHER one that he had purchased while he was home on Christmas break, "18 year old hard a**". YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!! So, he DOES know what he's looking for!! Brian was going, hey, why didn't he tell me what was on? LOL As a side note, I normally submit my cable bill to work for reimbursement of 1/2 my internet cost. Think I'll be skipping that one . . . I can just see my bill posted on accounts payable's bulletin board with both of those movies highlighted! So, not only did it cost $30 for two movies, but also the amount that I won't be reimbursed. He's almosts 16, what can I say, he's on target development-wise in that regard!!
And the scattered development part? He FINALLY is tying is own shoes!!!!!!!!!!!! For crying out loud, we have been such lazy parents about teaching him. ;D A few weeks ago I told Brian, that's it, it's ridiculous he isn't tying his own shoes, he's going to learn come hell or highwater!! So, like two days later, school sent home a note letting us know that he tied his shoes by himself twice that day. I KNEW that HE knew how to do it! Grrrrrr
Hmmm, now that I'm typing this, maybe it's not so scattered after all. Probably any 15-year old will dupe his parents until he gets busted!!

Oh Jessie...this is just tooooo funny! But frustrating , too! LOL. It's like..."oh wonderful...you are doing something age appropriate...but now...just DON"T do it again..." ;D Scattered development is right...and that's a great descriptive for our kids, isn't it. Reminds me of when Em was 16 and the older sibs were home on Spring Break...and when cleaning under her bed after they left I found 10 empty beer cans...and about a dozen Barbie and Kens..... She is almost 30 now and we are still "scattered" Jackie

LOLOL sorry Jessie but LOLOL I can honestly say THANKFULLY Chris would have no idea how to order anything on our cable and I hope that continues to be that way Chris also OMG he has been able to tie his shoes for a few years now BUT he would rather just slip his foot out without untying and back in so he doesn't have to tie LOLOL Smarter Characters then we give them credit for CC ~

CC - yes they are!!! I see that when Jason doesn't feel like tying his shoes he will simply tuck the laces down the sides of the shoes. Like I always say, he's a problem solver!! Jessie
