Hey all....

Another snow day here....been awhile....but happened to be home and saw Ellen show & John Mcginley ( DR. Cox on Scrubs) was on the Ellen show....

I didn't know, but I from what I gathered, he has a son with Down syndrome....and he was speaking about March 31, 2009....Spread the word to Stop the Word ( hope I remembered that correctly).....

Trying to raise awareness and end the "r" word.....

it was interesting....I can't post a link to her show yet...I think it is too soon.....was only on a half hour ago

but....as I googled around...I found this group on Facebook....started by Sorreen Palumbo ....

I dunno. Having this on Ellen is fantastic. I much prefer her - she's sooooo funny - to Oprah. I know, I know, Oprah gets more viewers.

Yep, I joined on Facebook. A lot of my friends joined too. Thanks for showing it.

John does have a son with DS. He spoke at the 2006 New York Buddy Walk and has probably been to others. Dani was selected to be on the Times Square Video that year. So we went to NY. Had a blast.
