;D Brook had her first day of preschool yesterday ;D She did great!! I was so very proud. She wanted to put her backpack on all by herself b/c ya know, she is a big school girl now And she accomplished the task Yes Brook is only 2 yrs 10 months old but as i've said before she is smart as a whip and needed school now. It was kinda a rush rush day. Had alot to accomplish but we made it on time. We got there and Brook's little friend "O" was there along with the other two boys in her class. Brook and "O" were Blessed with that little something extra and the two boys are peer models. There are 4-6 teachers in her class so everyone gets one on one attention. Brook even has her own snack time buddy to watch her closely b/c of the malasia things we have going on right now. What a great group of teachers. I dropped Brook off and slowly snuck out the door. I thought for sure she would freek out when I left BUT she did GREAT!!!! Could of cared less if momma was there or not. I came back to work and waited for shift change. Went back to the school to get her and sneekly watched through the door. She was sitting down at the snack table having a snack with all the friends. She looked so grown up. Almost got a little teary but I know she needed this so much. My Brookster is so smart. She is the light of my life. Welcome to school Brookster. Momma will watch you blossom.

Sounds like your little eagle is spreading her wings! I'm so happy to hear that she liked it so much. Ethan was the same way, and it made me a little sad that he was so happy to see me go, LOL!
She looks so adorable with her little backpack on!!!

oh my...bittersweet, no doubt....how exciting she is ready to go off and do this...but how sad that she is growing up so fast. She is smart to know that putting on the backpack was what she had to do to go to school. I can hardly wait to hear how she liked it and what she is doing there.

Thanks everybody She is growing up before my eyes. This school should be great. One day a week and then after spring break two days a week. They do circle time, some form of PT, OT and ST, have and help make snack, wash up, alll the things Brook needs right now. I can't wait to see how much more she will learn. I can teach her some things but the school kids can teach her stuff too
