True.. when I woke up this morning with Cassie there were roses on the kitchen counter with a note saying, Happy V Day with lots of hugs and kisses. My hubby works nights, and doesnt get up till 3pm ish, so that was a nice surprise. TPBM is counting down the minutes until their kids are headed for bed.

I like WalMart too. Even Canada has them everywhere. Yes, prescriptions are cheaper there. But my Dad being over 65, only has to pay 4.00 a prescription anyway and our gov. kicks in the rest. One benefit to being over 65.. I am sure there are lots more? hehe. Dont have to work is another one. I cant wait to be 65......:-)

I would also be worried, and you are doing the right thing by taking her back to the ped. You do need to get this straightened out. Yes, it sure is flu time and all that nonsense so it very well could be a nasty bug. I know around here in Ontario, so many things are still going around. My son has had a really bad fever and sore throat , achy pains and all that. He had such a bad fever that he called me from his gramps house and told me the people upstairs came and stole his bed. Well, they didnt of course, but the fever he had was not good obviously. I must say, I did have a bit of a giggle when he told me he needed help and his bed was stolen. I picked him up right away anyway and brought him here. My son is 18. Anyway.. dont think of the worst until you know what it is. There is no sense getting yourself all worked up like that, because it could be just a bug. I know easier said than done, but keep an open mind. Every year, the bugs get worse, and thats what it could be. Let us know how things go for tomorrow.

Hi, I have 4 kids, the oldest twins being 18 and a 12 yr old and my younges with DS being 1. My twins have been just fine with it. They told all their friends in the beginning, and they were ok with it too. I guess with the age difference, they are off doing their own thing though, and I wish they would pay more attention to her, but thats the way it is. My 12 year old, pays lots of attention to Cassie. He asked lots of questions in the beginning, and now that he has seen for himself what DS is all about, he feels a lot better about things. He also knows someone with an adult DS girl, and was very shocked to hear that she went to college, and did all sorts of neat things in her life. That was a big help to him too. They all do see that DS is not such a big thing like we all thought it was in the beginning. I am an older mom of 41 soon. Real soon actually, hehe.
