Good luck @ the movies!!! I've learned to approach things with low expectations - that way you're not disappointed. My best advice to give you, is to let Luke hang outside of the actual theater till the MOVIE starts...nowadays you have 20 minutes of coming attractions that eats into children's valuable available attention minutes.
ENJOY!!!

Let us know if you take him and how he likes it! I have been wanting to take Aidan to a movie for a while now...even have had plans on taking him a couple of times...then something happens (usually his behavior!) and I get discouraged and don't take him. I just don't think he'd sit through it...he would probably love the noise and all the activity, though. I thought *maybe* I'd take him to Shark Tale tomorrow...I'll let ya know if we go and how he likes it if we do!

Well, I did it, you all! I took Aidan to the movie theater this afternoon...we saw Shark Tale. It wasn't a GREAT movie, and we didn't even get to finish it, but Aidan was really good, better than I expected. We got popcorn and a booster seat, sat in the 2nd row, and he loved the popcorn and the previews. The previews had a lot of action and music, he danced through the whole thing. The movie started and he watched (with his glasses ON, btw...which doesn't EVER happen!) the movie for about an hour. Amazing! He was getting tired and sqirmy and he wanted to go bye-bye, so we left. But I'm VERY proud of him! He looked like such a big boy! I can't wait for more, new, exciting adventures with him! Staci
