Over the weekend I was in a car accident (not my fault), and managed to break my wrist in three places. I'm also very bruised, sore and cranky. Joy is taking advantage of my "condition" and is acting extra stubborn, throwing herself on the floor a lot, and just being a pill. She does keep kissing my cast and saying "All better!" But her naughty is definitely outweighing her nice! I can't wait to get out of this cast, as I am typing this message with my left hand only...time consuming! I just wanted to whine a little. Thanks to all who don't mind listening! Jenifer, mom to Joy

Wow! Sorry to hear about the accident! And glad you weren't injured more seriously! Although having one hand out of commission definitely will slow EVERYTHING down! Isn't that just like kids to know when to push their limits?

Oh no Jenifer............that's not whiney! Bless your heart; I'm so sorry to hear it! Moms need at least 2 hands to keep up with little ones! Hopefully, Joy will get "used" to Mom having a cast on and will return to her usual self and not continue to push your buttons! VERY sweet that she is kissing your cast though.....what a doll!! I'm glad that you are alive and well and able to type with one hand at least, and hope your wrist heals completely (and soon!). Susan

Kinda like the phone thing.... as soon as you get on the phone they act up don't they? LOL. Sorry about the car accident and the broken wrist. THANK GOODNESS that was all it was for you and you are ok! Whine away.... I would be too! I hope you are not in any pain? Take it easy! And do you have a relative, neighbor, loved one, ect.. that could come help out with Joy for a couple hours here or there? Take her to the park? Let you rest? Just a thought.. don't be afraid to say I NEED HELP if you need help or a break! (no pun intended LOL!) a.

Awww Jennifer I am soo sorry bout ur accident. I must say if you could try this it helps me a lot. Have someone or u lay certain items around the house Joy can reach. THEN befoore she has a chance to get cuckoo on you ask her for ur help. Ask can u get me this over there ... and that over there(when she is starting) Get her a dr. kit gloves play doctor stuff etc. Make her feel like u really need her help. ALWAYS works for me when Liv is needing the xtra attention which sounds like its what Joy is looking 4. Hope it helps try it. Make sure u gets lots of stuff for her to find 4 u. Helping makes Liv feel XTRA special and important... HUGS and feel better Steff
