I just went outside to let the dog in and Kyle turned the lock and locked me out. (All other doors are locked too, and no one else is home but Kyle and me.) This is the child that had his IEP last Thursday and said he is around 2 years old ( he will be 4 Nov 15)and needs help with fine motor like using his finger and thumb. Anyways this lock he would have to use his finger and thumb. i opened a window and climbed in. Guess i will tell those teachers tommorrow he had practice tonight with fine motor. Vicki

Oh yea, they are slick and smart little creatures! Lauren escaped on us and went to the neighbors for breakfast at 6:30 AM. We now have locks she can't open.

I thought the "not so funny Kyle story" was pretty humorous. Come on MOM! Where is your sense of humor?! LOL

Vicki, It's now been years but, if I'm not mistaken....Robin is now laughing!!! I know Chase has locked her out on more than on occasion and sometimes if I remember right....she may not have been dressed for it either...LOL Just look what you have to look forward to!!! Connie

This is why Russell's bedroom door and lock is reversed to the outside. He went through a phase a couple years ago where he needed to lock himself in his room! LOL Are you still standing outside Vicki or are you IN now? A.

I do think it is funny and ihow could i not laugh when i see that smiling face looking at me. But Kyle did get mad when i couldnt get in and Scooby started barking. I had to go down a block to my moms and she called my older son to come down .While she was calling him i ran back to the house. My son came and helped me open a window because my hands we cold and i couldnt get the window open . I too wasnt ready for this i didnt have a coat on and had flip flops on. We havent been in this house very long so i wasnt sure how i was going to get in. I do take my keys with me now when i go out. It all worked out. Vicki
