Oh my gosh you guys, Andrew had to be put back on Prednisone this past weekend. He is soooooo hyper! I have had to put everything back in the cabinets FOUR times today...yes...FOUR times! This is a boy who usually doesn't go through the cabinets but now he is just throwing everything out onto the floor.
Our house has an open concept on the first floor. There are no walls dividing rooms, the only thing in the middle is the staircase leading upstairs. This boy has been running around the staircase in circles! Every time he passes me he yells out "MOMMA!!!!!!" and keeps right on running. He's uncontrollable!
We went to his Ped yesterday and while I was trying to talk to the doctor Andrew took it upon himself to stand on a chair and throw a picture off the wall, run out the door twice, and throw all the books off the bookshelf. I swear we were only there 5 minutes.
So....sigh......does anyone know of any foods that are known to calm a child?? I have tried classical music, reading books (oh yeah...THAT was fun ) and I even gave him a nice warm bath.
I just got off the phone with my DH. He said, "you're online asking about foods???" LMAO!! I said, yeah you'd be surprised at the tips these people have. He said he will make sure he comes home on time tonight...LOL!! I think it's wine with dinner tonight.....and dessert ...lol!
Well...I guess it's snack time. Andrew just came up to me with a frozen chicken from the freezer. I didn't even know he could open the freezer door! LOL! I'm almost afraid to see what else he took out!
-Trisha.....slowly loosing her mind!!!!
