Hey again - hope you don't mind me posting these here...
the ACDS PTO has a great book for sale -- called "SHow Me Some More" by M&M Cianciulli
from the ad...
Show Me Some More is a unique children's book, introducing typical children to those with special needs. Same, a boy with Down syndrome, journeys thought a pet store in search of the perfect birthday gift. The universal message of the story - that every child , no matter how unique, makes a contribution to family, community and society - is timely and timeless.
This engaging children's book is written in rhyme at a second grade level. It is a simple story with a strong message which will accomplish what educators have struggled with for years: bringing "inclusion" to life in elementary schools across the nation."
this book was developed by Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson and the authors and is really quite sweet....I bought a bunch to give to Meghan's teachers and therapists when she leaves this year, and will be giving several copies to her new teachers in her new school next year.
If you want the book mailed, it is $10 including shipping...checks made to ACDS PTO
- if you want more than one book, please PM me, and I'm sure we can work out a lower shipping price.
If you can pick up the books at ACDS, price is only $5.
To order...send your check (made out to ACDS PTO)

thanks - and again, I hope noone minds me posting this here.
