I know a long time ago someone posted one of these, I have looked on line and can only find the ones that are like $300.00
The reason for needing one is Justin keeps getting away from them at school. The last of school before this break he went missing for 30 minutes, they called me once he was found, they should have called me sooner I think, they found him in the elevator, ugg at least it wasn't outside this time, but he has gotten outside and really close the very busy street that runs in front of the school. So I'm looking for something that you can wear one and he the other and you can set the feet and once he go past that both will go off.I'm not understanding how he is getting away from them it is 1 teacher and 2 aids and 7 kids.
Thanks for your help
Hope everyone is off to a good start of the New Year

I have www.ion-kids.com I got it from brickhousesecurity.com , but the first site lists about 4 places to get it. The thing I like is you can set it for a certain distance (a couple of rooms) then the alarm goes off if he breaks that setting. Some types may tell you he's in the building, but this leads me to exactly where in the building. (Has John-John tried it out? YES ;D) You can put up to 4 children on it if you buy more wristbands. The one thing I don'y like is it getting a little tight on his wrist at 8 yrs old. They do have it so you can put it on a "tag holder," but John-John would pull that off. I called them for suggestions & they said what some parents do is hook the wristband to the belt loop. That would work for John-John as the wrist band has a lock that needs the key that stays on the remote. The one thing you need to remember is that it charges in about 2 hours. After that if you don't take it off, it discharges. Don't leave it charging all night. YES, we found out the hard way. The day he got away Thank God he introduces himself to many people (hugs them) & most of the people know him at the pastors conference. He made it out the door & to the duck pond...who was seen by a cafeteria worker...who got another cafeteria worker to bring him over to the church (glass doors).. who was see by someone in the church who didn't know who he was with,,,who got me.. by then he was with someone I knew...who was HOLDING (heehee) him there, til I got there & carried him back upstairs to childcare..where I sent the girls off to find the worker that was watching him & tell her he's found, he's fine, & there's nothing to forgive as he does it to me too & I'm his mom. It runs about $200. Not cheap, but for my Sanity, well worth it! When I put in ion kids on search, it's even sold at target online. If you were intrested I'd search to see who had the best price. Pat

i found some very good gps alarms for kids they are called guardianangel they have different models one u punch in the gps stats for ur location and when the person reaches the boundaries set in it an alarm goes off, another one u wear half of the device and the person wears the other and when they get farther than the limit u set alarms goes off, there is one for ur spouse to that tracks your spouse, and records all the stops eh/she makes all day , a veritable stalkers delight , that one anyway i dont have the websight , but i found it by typing guardianangel in the search engine, i thought some of them were like 35.00 and up ....... while were on subject, victoria got away at five am one morning wandered down to the nursing home down the road,, i got a call from the chief of police, two weeks later she got away from the cheerleading coach at the high school,,,,, police found her(shes six btw)they turned me over to the child protection agency.......... i got a visit they inspected my house, alarms, bells ect ect...... finally i asked him wy he dint go down to the school and inspect it and the teacher that let her get away,,,,,,,,, he was never told she got away from the school............. the other day victoria got up and went to go to the bathroom ,, she never came back (again five am) so i finally get up and go look for her, i find her , she has pushed the stool up to the door and is reaching for the latch at the top of the door(not quite tall enough yet give her six months) i march her little hiney back to bed.......... i dont sleep much............
