didn't work that well. I am not sure if the clonidine takes time but at 4 am she was awake and woke us all up. They said to only give her 1/2 of the tablet. It is the lowest dose and they split it. She was snoring up a storm though. I think she may have had some good rest. She was still hard to handle this morning. So we will see how it is in a few days.
Thank you all for your well wishes and info....

Sleeping until 4 works for me! LOL I think Russell was up then too but we have his room gated and he doesn't go beyond the gate I was up at 4:45 so it didn't bother me too much. I know even with the Risperdal he snores now, he has DEAD sleep now.. but STILL wakes up! HUGS! And maybe you will see some few days of sleep in the mix like we are seeing on the Risperdal, which is better then what we have had lately! A.

Good luck. I know lack of sleep is a very difficult thing. We just got Damara to sleep through the nights without terrors and we are really enjoying our rest! I hope this clears really soon for you!

I have my 7 yr old on clonidine and risperdal. They work very well for him. He falls asleep as soon as the meds kick in and he sleeps all night long. He is a "typical" kid just very serious behavioral challenges. I am not sure if it makes a difference or not. He takes .1 mg of the clonidine. Maybe just the dosing needs to be tweaked a bit.
