Anyone else totally INTO American Idol??? I didn't watch it the first season it was on, but got SO into it last season and have gotten totally addicted to it this season. Just wondering who everyone else might be "voting for"! I have never officially voted, and right now it would be so hard to vote, because I have so many favorites! Susan

I love American Idol and Star Search. I haven't really been able to watch it on a regular basis.

Yep Susan, Amy nailed it. I think she was my favorite tonight and #10 was my second favorite. I think the one to go should be the guy....with two first names....jon peter or something like that. Seems there are about 5 or 6 of them that are really strong. Tonight I think #6, 7 and 8 won't make it long term.

Tricia......I'm not really that crazy about Jon Peter Lewis's VOICE...but you gotta love him! The guy is adorable! I don't think he'll win, but I think he'll be around for several more weeks. I even think SIMON likes him! My least favorite is Jennifer Hudson....other than her, I want them ALL to win! And I love Diana DeGarmo! LOL can you tell I watch this one faithfully??? Susan

We are totally into American Idol this time! We love Jon Peter~he isn't the greatest singer but he is so much fun to watch. I like the girl from Hawaii who always wears a flower in her hair~I'm hoping she wins. And to show how old Conor is getting, when I said she had a good voice he said "she's pretty too". When did my baby start looking at girls?!?!? Mary L.

We are totally loving American Idol; especially as it gets closer and closer. I've been so sad for John Stevens......he has done a good job, has been a GREAT example for kids (not the very best singer in the group, but a FINE young man!!!), and he sure hasn't deserved all the negative press he has gotten. I'm hoping to see all of the finalists this summer when they tour. I really want to see Diana or LaToya win this season. Susan

I love this show! I was sad to see John go but he really was the weakest singer in the group. I was touched by the way the other contestants responded when he was eliminated. John does have great character.
I am always impressed by Fantasia's professionalism. She is so well prepared. She was phenomenal when she sang Summertime.
LaToya has a great voice but doesn't have the charisma, at least I don't feel it. Diana is a cute girl but her voice still lacks maturity.
I love the fact that these young people are being judged on their musicality. No bumping, grinding and lewd behavior.

YIKES!! What happened on Idol tonight?! has the world gone mad? LaToya was my favorite...I was waiting for Seacrest to say it was a joke. I know she'll get a contract but YIKES!! Jasmine is OK...but her voice is nowhere as good as any of the remaining 3.

I know Laurie......I was so bummed out by the whole thing! I believe that Simon bashed Jasmine so hard and America (ok, probably especially Hawaii) voted for her over and over. I always really liked her, but I felt like it was really time for her to go. I thought she would go, then Fantasia, then Diana, and finally......LaToya would be the American Idol. Now, I'm feeling bad for Jasmine in the same way I felt for John Stevens. It had to be hard for her to hear people BOOING her! I hope, for her sake, she is voted off next week. LaToya will do well, I'm sure. And......if American Idol hopes to have another season, they will have to FIX the voting system. (one call per phone...NO powervoting!) Susan

Hi guys, This was my first season watching American Idol... but we are hooked ! I have to say I am surprised Diana Degarmo is still here, but she does at least show improvement every week. The voting seems strange to me, wouldn't it be better to vote for who should LEAVE ? I think that people figure the best will be safe and then vote for the others so they'll have a chance.

I was totally shocked when LaToya was voted out. I can't believe Jasmine is still there. I guess crocodile tears really help. Jasmine seems like a nice girl but she isn't a great singer. In my opinion, LaToya has the best voice. Fantasia has the best stage presence. Diana is hit or miss. I have to agree with Simon, LaToya and Fantasia are on a different level than Jasmine or Diana. I still cant believe LaToya was voted out..she was my all time favorite, and yes, I too know she will get a contract somewhere but man, how could America not vote for her over everyone else? I thought Jasmine should of left long before some of the others did, like Amy, and my dancing little John, LOL I loved him, cute little thing! Just wait though, we will see him some day famous and singing. I really like Diana but she just doesnt float my boat so I guess I am going to have to wish for Fantasia. First Survivors gone and now American Idol will be gone, what am I to watch this summer, nothing left on TV hugs, Robin
