Ok CC hopefully you are all finally asleep and Kodi Lee is tucked in all snug and safe. Grrrrrrrr to the bus we had that happen at one of Ashleys' field trips, we get done and no bus for over an hour and the driver never once picked up her radio, but fortunately I had gone with her and about 59 other kids, they teamed up with another class. I'll be willing to share a box of my Miss Clairol with ya on this one as I'm sure you may need it after this one.

I'm wide awake being on the other side of the world and so probably are you. Please let us know what happened and that Kodi Lee got home safe and sound. I'm thinking of you this very moment. How are earth did teachers let this happen??

THANKS Debi, Jackie and Kim. Jackie girl, THANKS for the offer, hmmmm BUT I think more then a box of Clairol is needed these days LOLOL Geez what a night BUT THANKFULLY Kodi Lee did finally return home a little after 1 in the morning. Poor kid had been at school since 6:30 am for Chorus and gone until after 1 in the morning, she was one tired kid BUT safe and thats what really mattered. From what I am hearing it seems the tour bus they hired the driver parked the bus somewhere and fell asleep while they were all in the play and he was not answering his radio Finally after many calls to the tour buss company they were able to wake him up and get him over to pick up the kids. Personally I wonder if he was really asleep or just out enjoying the City, who the heck really knows BUT Kodi Lee and ALL the others are back safe and once again my prayers were answered ;D ;D ;D Turns out many parents had already left home and were up at the high school waiting for their kids to return by 11:30 PM at the latest, and no one could reach them by phone soooo the Police were called to go to the school and tell the parents your kids are still in NY City and at the moment no one knows what time they will be home I have a feeling this tour bus company will NOT be used for the next show they attend. CC aka as one HAPPY Mom again

Oh, CC, just read this and am so happy to hear that Codi made it home safe and sound although a lot later than everybody would have liked!!! I had a similar experience with Caitlin a couple of years ago. Her class had gone to Toronto to the Royal Science Museum and somehow she never made it onto the bus home! Apparently when they were doing the role call to make sure everybody was on the bus another girl named Caitlin answered twice so off the bus headed back to Buffalo. The problem was discovered only after the buses had arrived back here and there was no Caitlin W to be found! At the time I was very pregnant with Alison and thought for sure the stress would put me into labor! I ended up having to drive close to 3 hrs each way to go to Toronto to pick her up!!! I do have to say that the folks at the museum were absolutely WONDERFUL!!! They made sure that she had dinner (probably better than what Mom would have made for dinner if she had been home!!!) and gave Caitlin a really cool "behind the scenes" tour of the stuff that they had that was not on public display! I think that that incident alone is responsible for about 98% of my gray hairs - although I don't readily admit that they are gray, I usually just say I'm going blond! Again glad to hear that Codi and her classmates are all safe and sound and home where they belong!!! Barb
