"Informative and inspiring. . . It's wonderful to know that parents can be so involved, educated, and determined to reach out and make a difference. These people are giving many others hope." 'Dakota's Pride' is a truly inspiring tale! This is a feel-good documentary." Universal Film Festival universalfilmfestival.com
"Dakota's Pride is a unique film that shows a side to Down Syndrome that is rarely featured, and that is the hope and success that these individuals and their families can experience in life." Valerie M.B. VanDerSluis Programming Director KTWU PBSThe DVD is or has been played on PBS.
It seems to give a very positive and enlightening spin on raising a child with DS.
I am not good at linking. So you may need to google it. I was amazed at some of the captions.
Thanks all and Happy Monday.
She had a great time at her birthday party. They saw Kung Fu Panda. I was trying to pack some things last night and she kept Kung Fu"ing" me in the butt. I finally realized what she was doing and laughed. How could I be mad? It was just another reinforcement her memory is increasing. The kids were all great with her.
